In a world threatened by the monstrous plastic epidemic, even a small step makes a huge difference. Today plastics have created a havoc in our lives. Totally inevitable in our day to day lives, we are fully dependent on plastic. But conventional plastics have a plastic coating that releases gases onto your food and also into the air when burned in landfills. These bags take hundreds of years to decompose and are a huge threat to our nature. Such is the destruction by the monster – plastic that coming up with an eco-friendly alternative became the need of the hour.

With this in mind, Green On India was created in 2018 by a team of pro-environmentalists and like-minded individuals, post vigorous research and development, trying to find out alternative solutions against the plastic products. We believe that composting is the environmentalism of the future, and we work hard to spread the knowledge about the better alternatives to disposable plastic

We are based at Surat, Gujarat with a state-of-the-art production facility. We are one of the fast emerging players of the biodegradable market in India. We are the only one (and one ofthe very few in Gujarat) licensed manufacturer, wholesaler, and distributor of 100% compostable and sustainableproducts (grocery bags, carry bags, cutlery etc.)

Our products are the perfect alternative to the harmful plastics that are detrimental to our Earth. All the Green On India products are made from Natural Starch, Vegetable Oil derivatives and Vegetable waste. They do not give out toxic gases into the air or your food. Although made up of 100% compostable and natural materials, our bags are as strong and durable as conventional plastic bags. Plus they decompose in approximately 180 days. Even if you are not able to compost at your home and our bags reach at your local landfill sites, they do not pose a threat to the environment and decompose automatically.
